Introducing Pink Penelope Pixie, a 6 1/2 inch tall porcelain standing fairy by artist Karen Scott. Pink Penelope Pixie is the first fairy in Karen's Scott's original collection to display the unique colored porcelain in pink! This includes the head with attached shoulder-plate, hand to elbow, and toes to knee. "Penelope" not only displays the unique colored porcelain which is rarely found in collections, but she is hallmarked by Karen Scott's beautiful hand-painted floral designs in shades of pink, shades of green, yellow and white. Her eyes are also hand-painted in brown. Her outfit is made of white satin bodice and panties. The neckline has hand-sewn beads and her sleeves are white satin covered in white tulle netting. The skirt of the dress is made from white silk flowers covering layers of white tulle netting. The doll's dress and wings are accented with light pink flowers and ribbons. Her hair is made from fluffy white boa feathers and antennae (which can be removed). "Penelope" comes with a painted white wooden doll stand, and a certificate of authenticity. The doll and certificate are both signed by the artist. "Penelope" is truly a rare and collectible piece of art by Karen Scott and is sure to stand out in your collection.
