There isn’t a day that goes by that
I don’t miss my mom. I wish she
could have been there when my
girls got married, when my
grandchildren were born… to
continue to be that  part of my  life
that only she could be…my mom
…my very dear friend. When she
died in 1998 I felt as though I had
been robbed. After all, women in
our family don’t die at the age of
69 ….and they don’t die of
ovarian cancer.
Suddenly my medical history had changed not only for me but
for my girls as well. It included cancer. How could this disease
take her from us without warning? Ovarian cancer has been
called the “silent killer”. It certainly was for my mom. The
symptoms of ovarian cancer are easily dismissed…until they
become severe. Such was the case for my mom. Please take
time to check out the “Ovarian Cancer National Alliance”
website and send the link to all the women  in your life. It may
save the life of someone very dear to you.

May God Bless you,

Karen Scott
