"Sabella" By Rachel Scott

"Sabella" is an 11" standing OOAK porcelain fairy doll
sculpted and designed by Rachel Scott. She comes with a
hand-made wooden stand, decorated with moss and floral
accents with a small bird sitting on a rock. She has porcelain
head, shoulder-plate, arms and legs. Her body is cloth with
poseable armature so you can pose her arms and legs. Her
head is also poseable. She has hand-painted brown eyes and
eye-lashes. Her hair is hand-dyed and hand made of
mohair. It is also curled and styled by hand and set in place.
She is wearing a floral wreath on top of her head made of
purple flowers and green accents.

Her bodice is made of a glittery lavender fabric, and her
sleeves are made with a white glittery fabric, accented with
lavender tulle trim. Her skirt is made with layers and layers
of sparkley white tulle, and accented with purple flowers,
and several white organza flower petals. A purple floral sash
with ribbons is placed on her waist. Her sandals are
hand-made with suede cloth decorated with beads and
sequins.

When I created "Sabella" I wanted to design a fairy that
captured the fun and magical realm of fairies, in a natural
"woodland" setting, so when you look at her, your
imagination will take over. I think with purple being a color
of royalty, it added a richer and more natural feel to her
design, especially with the deeper tones, mixed with the
lighter tones. She is the perfect size to display anywhere and
will go with any decor. I love the fact that this doll is a
OOAK, which makes her truly a unique piece of art. She is
definately a conversation piece that adds a little piece of
whimsy to any room.

"Sabella" is hand signed by Rachel Scott and comes with a
certificate of authenticity.
